Meet the Seller

A black and white graphic with the words "The Don's Luxury" and a hand holding a puppet string.

The Don’s Luxury started when husband and wife duo, Harrison and Cailtin, started doing luxury drops from their living room.

It's now a multi-set showroom in Houston with a 12-person team, projected to hit $12M this year alone on Whatnot.

Before Whatnot

  • They built a loyal following promoting weekly luxury drops through Instagram and their own website.

  • Their releases created reliable, high-energy moments each week, drawing in dedicated repeat buyers.

  • Harrison and Caitlin ran the whole business themselves, staying hands-on with every product and every customer.

  • They'd built real momentum in the luxury resale space and were looking for the next stage to grow into.

“It's still early days for live shopping and the people that will benefit the most are the ones that are building something now.”

- Harrison, The Don’s Luxury

Launching on Whatnot

  • Harrison saw Whatnot's potential after watching another seller go live, and knew instantly it could change the business.

  • They started with $1 auctions and steady giveaways, building early excitement and a following from scratch.

  • Some of their earliest buyers now spend hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, tuning into every show.

  • As their audience grew, they brought in higher-end product, now moving Chanel and Hermes in seconds.

"Early on, we took a $40 loss on a Louis Vuitton wallet, but guess what? That buyer’s now spending six figures with us every single year."

- Caitlin, The Don’s Luxury

Growing on Whatnot

  • They've moved into an 8,500 sq ft showroom with five live-stream sets and a 12-person team.

  • They've grown from $2K to over $200K per show, now averaging $27K+ in sales per hour live.

  • Buyers get the same Harrison and Caitlin every show, keeping the connection consistent as the business scales.

  • Their community spans every price point, from a $100 scarf to a $30,000 Birkin, celebrated the same either way.

"We could have 500 people watching the same show. There is almost no negativity... somebody can join in and get a $100 luxury scarf and be celebrated the same as somebody grabbing a $30,000 Birkin."
